Streng nach dem Vorsatz: „Musician ain’t no politician“ haben wir uns bisher nicht an Solikozerten beteiligt – der richtige Anlass hatte sich einfach noch nicht gefunden. Als wir aber gefragt wurden, ob wir am 12.02.2010 für die Aktion Brot für die Welt an einem Solikonzert für das erdbebengeschädigte Haiti teilnehmen möchten, haben wir natürlich sofort zugesagt und stehen nun am 12.02.2010 beim „Love the People – The Charity Concert“ in der Linse in der Parkaue in der Berlin auf der Bühne. Mit uns stehen noch Ella Chord & Gary Flanell, FireEaters (Deep Funk) und Port Royal (Ska, Reggae) die die ganze Aktion auf die Beine gestellt – Vielen Dank. Türen öffnen um 20:00 Uhr.
„Musician ain’t no politician“ – That’s why we never attended charity concerts. They were just politics and we don’t want to support groups and parties who just want money for their own purposes. But when we were asked to play at the „Love The People – The Charity Concert“ for „Bread For The World“ (don’t know if this makes sense in english ;-) we agreed to attend. So we are going to play besides Ella Chord & Gary Flanell, the FireEaters (Deep Funk) and Port Royal (Ska, Reggae), who organized the concert – Thanks A Lot! Doors open 8.00 pm.
